Lawrence "Larry" Roger Moran

Date Submitted: 3/11/04

Upon graduation I attended Lock Haven State Teachers College graduating in Health Education. Student teaching confirmed for me that my life's calling was not eduction. Consequently, in 1960 I started my career as a U. S. Marine Officer. I stayed with that for twenty years retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1980. My experience ranged from the "Bay of Pigs," Viet Nam, to the recovery of the S. S. Mayaquez to name some highlights.

I married as I entered the Corps and have two son, David and Michael. Along the way I divorced and remarried my wife Linda and have two step children, Jennifer and Tim. Currently we have seven grandchildren.

After my military tour I immediately went to work for Pacific Bell in San Diego, California where I currently reside. Mid-1997 I retired from PacBell and to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and generally goof off. That conditions persists to this day.

My email address is lmoran1@cox.net.
