After leaving Smethport in 1984, I moved to Webster, NY to be near my sister, Joan. Now, after all these years, when she enters retirement age, she plans on move back to Smethport along with our sister, Nancy. I can't keep up with this family!

I met and married my husband, John, in June of 1986. In August of 1987, we welcomed our son, Dan to the family. For Christmas in 1988, we gave him a little sister named, Brittany. Dan is finishing up his degree at SUNY Cortland in Sport Management. He is currently doing his internship with the Rochester Raiders Indoor Football team and living at home. Brittany is a student at SUNY Geneseo working towards a teaching degree.

After working in the insurance industry for 10 years, I went back to school and got my nursing degree in 1997. I worked in labor and delivery for 4 years at Genesee Hospital before it closed. I then switched gears and went to school nursing. I opened the doors at Willink Middle School in Webster in 2001 and have been here ever since. I couldn't keep away from labor and delivery, so in 2002 I returned per diem at another local hospital. If you want to really feel your age, be a school nurse and start to have the babies you delivered come through your doors. Oh, the stories I have!

My husband now coaches football at the modified level for Willink. Just when we adjusted to being home alone with both kids in college, they are now moving back home. We seem to stay busy though. It seems that every time I get to Smethport, it is for 24 hours or less. I would love to hear from old friends.
