After graduation, I earned my undergraduate degree in Communications & Sociology at UPB in 1992. I then earned my graduate degree in Special Education with a concentration in Rehabilitative Science from Clarion University in 1999. I was working in Marionville, PA once I graduated college and then transferred to South Mountain, PA for a promotion with Cornell Abraxas.

After eight years with Abraxas, I decided to put my M.S. to work and moved to Charlotte, NC. I am now working for the State of South Carolina as a Special Service Coordinator at the Catawba Family Center. I oversee and supervise five programs dealing with court appointed youth on an outpatient basis. It's a lot of fun and these kids need all the help they can get. It is a very rewarding feeling when you can turn a life around and create a positive future for them.

I met my husband in 2001. Paul is from Vienna, VA and works for Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntersville, NC. We were married in 2003, and we now have little girl, Skylar Raye Alepa born in April of 2005. Life is good!! We just built a beautiful home in Indian Trail, NC that actually has a yard. I miss the open fields (not the sheep) at my father's farm.

Sometimes I sit back and remember the good times and great friendships created in the little town of Smethport. I get back about twice a year to visit friends and family.

My email is raa21@scdmh.org.
