After high school, I went to Penn State, majored in Polymer Science and minored in Chemistry. After college, I moved to DC for a couple of months and then to the Boston area for 7 years. In the summer of 2001, I moved to San Francisco and absolutely love it here. These days, I live with my girlfriend, Cammy, in Fremont, CA.
Technology (hardware/software) and market research have been my areas of work interest. I have bounced around a number of technology startups in Boston and Silicon Valley. Nowadays, I work for the Institute for the Future (www.iftf.org), a research Institute, based in Palo Alto, CA, where I oversee Business Development. On the side, I started up an entrepreneur network called STIRR (www.stirr.net).
I've traveled a bit overseas, but not enough: France, Bolivia, Brazil, Grand Cayman, Japan, and Mexico. I keep myself busy on weekends: hiking, camping, skiing and playing volleyball.
No kids yet. In the meantime, I get my kid-fix through my brother, Craig, and his wife, Merry, and their two children: David and Cailey. They live in Las Vegas, so the holidays are typically snow-free.
If anyone makes it out to the Bay Area ... give me a shout.
