After graduation I went to Edinboro University but transferred after the first year to Clarion University. I graduated in 1995 with a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Children. After graduation I got a job at Beacon Light (formally known as The Children's Home of Bradford). In July 1996 I married Travis Cowburn of Northern Potter. In July 1997, our daughter Alexis Eileen Cowburn was born. In May 2003 I graduated from St. Bonaventure with my M.S. in School Guidance Counseling. I worked at Beacon Light for almost 8 years. I recently accepted a job in the Potter County School Districts (mainly Couderport, Northern Potter and Oswayo Valley) working with the At-Risk students which I really enjoy. Mainly because now I have the summers off!!! Travis and I still live in Bradford but are looking to move closer to our jobs in the near future.
