I graduated from Penn State in 1995 with a B.S. in Political Science. After graduation I moved to Savannah, GA where I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University and received my teaching degree. I currently teach 6th grade social studies in Pooler, GA. Last summer I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and this summer I am working on my Educational Specialist in Teacher Leadership and BrainSmart.
I married my wonderful husband Ryan last summer. We have no children, but I do have a stepson, Dalton. We are also the proud parents of 3 dogs (Storm, Gunner, and Pisces) and 3 cats (Zeus, Piston and Soda Pop). Hopefully we'll be adding our own bundle of joy to an already full household.
