Like a handful of others from our class, I graduated from Clarion. I majored in Secondary Education Social Studies with a minor in History. During my student teaching I got to spend one of my placements teaching for the Department of Defense Schools in Naples, Italy. It was the best experience of my life. After graduation I got a job teaching at a wonderful school in Bethesda, MD, minutes from Washington, DC. I loved it down there. Professionally I had the best working environment a person could ask for, and personally living down there was wonderful, but just entirely too expensive on a teacher's salary. So, in the summer of 2005 I moved back to Smethport and got a teaching position at Otto-Eldred High School and have been there since. O-E is very different than the school I taught at in Maryland. I feel very fortunate to have had two great schools to have worked at and that are so day and night different.

I have just bought a house with my finance in Bradford. I have two springer spaniels who are more like my children than my dogs. All in all, my life since high school has been very rewarding. It was great reading other Class of '98 profiles, and look forward to reading more.

I would love to hear how everyone is doing 10 years after graduation. Drop me an email anytime at naoma_raszmann@yahoo.com.
